Scott Queathem, President & CEO
No stranger to the food industry, Scott is one of the foremost consultants to food industry. His 30 years of experience in sales, marketing and management has assisted numerous clients to achieve their sales and marketing goals profitably. Using skills and knowledge honed at reputable companies including Coke a Cola, Ore-Ida, and Parmalat. Scott has introduced both domestic and international products, driven the national expansion of existing product lines and increased sales by millions of dollars for a number of appreciative clients. As a brokerage principal, he developed extensive contacts and multiple customers in the mainstream, club, specialty and drug store markets. Today, he heads the Oueathem team of professionals in creating and implementing successful marketing strategies and national sales programs. Scott received a B.S. in Business Administration from St. Louis University where he competed in division-one ice hockey.
Rich Stella, Executive VP Sales
Rich brings more than 33 years of manufacturer and broker experience in the food industry. Rich graduated with an MA in Economics from IONA College in New Rochelle NY. Initial 8 years in sales were with Campbell Soup Company on the East Coast in various divisions. Rich was in executive positions as Retail Sales Manager and Vice President at Billings Horn and Bromar food brokerage organizations for 15 years in Southern California. Bromar was purchased in 1999 by Advantage where Rich was a Vice President of Grocery until 2006. Rich joined Queathem & Associates at that time as VP Sales. Primary responsibilities are assigning and coordinating activities with Brokers and Queathem clients.
Ernest Rankin, Executive VP Marketing
A recent addition to the QA team, Ernie focuses on business development and food product marketing. His background provides clients with insights to maintain brand identity and refine the value-added proposition when presenting to distributors and retailers. Working with clients to identify market opportunities and create successful promotion programs to targeted audiences. QA has accelerated sales for many brands and established several category leaders. Clients include both domestic and international companies. Prior to joining QA, he headed The Rankin Group Ltd, a privately held marketing firm specializing in technology and product marketing. That 25 year tenure allows clients to draw on a wealth of experience in the development of sales, advertising and public relations programs.
